Posting this mainly for CT's benefit. This badly. rushed picture was taken inside an ABC shop in a Doctor Who book. It is the same sonic pictured in the Visual Dictionary except for some details.The DK Visual Dictionary cuts off the slider plate and touches up the blue light/reading bar - this image in a recent book reveals that the sonic prop (this prop) had a tactile push button to activate the LED. If you can closely examine the picture it also reveals that the slider plate was made of a different material to the brass used in the series 4 sonic. Anyway, I thought this was an interesting picture in the book!
