Scores and More!

The last few weeks have seen me scoring more than usual with one game score down, another follows suit and it is relatively lighter when considering the tonal differences that each genre of film or game brings.

The last game score was for a Zombie shoot-em-up action/adventure thingy and it was scored for all the major action sequences and cut-scenes there might be. The score consisted of around 25 cues and was nothing short of what you'd expect from the music style the horror genre demands.

The next score which came by after a week of moving houses and frustration is a light-hearted pirate adventure called Cassigan's Cove. Teenagers disturb a tomb of a deadly Pirate called Cassigan. He is released and begins to torment the small island of Torensey.

This score gave me a chance to do some fun things whilst trying out new instruments and soundfonts allowing some experimentation with the regal brass sounds.

Here is the draft version of the cue list which has had some revisions since so all the slates are mismatched!
